LA UBU, COLEGIADA DE HONOR. El COAATBU reconoce la notoriedad profesional de Lorenzo Gutiérrez
La Universidad de Burgos ha sido nombrada Colegiada de Honor del COAATBU en reconocimiento a la colaboración existente desde hace 52 años que se fundó la Escuela de Aparejadores, germen de la actual entidad académica que celebró en 2014 su 20 aniversario. En el mismo acto se entregó el premio al reconocimiento a la notariedad profesional a Lorenzo Gutiérrez y las respectivas distinciones a los nuevos colegiados y quienes celebran sus bodas de plata en la profesión.
El presidente del Colegio, Jesús Manuel González Juez, apostó por el optimismo en un momento de “luces y sombras” pero en el que los aparejadores tienen ante si nuevos retos profesionales en la rehabilitación, la inspección o las revisiones energéticas, entre otras.
Retos para los que la UBU ofrece la necesaria formación que según el rector, Alfonso Murillo, se va actualizando desde hace medio siglo pero sigue manteniendo la “vocación de calidad” con un esfuerzo por la internacionalización, las prácticas y master propios.
Murillo recogió la placa que reconoce a la UBU como Colegiado de Honor el mismo día que uno de sus profesores, Lorenzo Gutiérrez, era homenajeado por su notoriedad profesional. En sus palabras destacó que para un aparejador el trabajo profesional y la enseñanza son iguales porque “una obra es como un niño” que si le formas bien, tendrá éxito en el futuro.
Gutiérrez, es Aparejador y Arquitecto Técnico por la Escuela Politécnica Superior de Burgos en la que, además, ha desarrollado la actividad docente desde 1990 y entre 2001 y 2004 fue director del departamento de Construcciones Arquitectónicas e Ingeniería. Con anterioridad, trabajó en Estructuras Hormifer y Construcciones Olanco y fundó en los años ochenta Tetra-4 y Tetra-5.
Junto a la UBU y Lorenzo Gutierrez, el COAATBU dio la bienvenida a los nuevos colegiados en cuyo nombre, Arturo Sevilla, miró hacia el futuro con la esperanza de “abrir nuevos caminos” y seguir el ejemplo de quienes ya han celebrado sus bodas de plata. Juan Carlos Izquierdo fue su representante y aprovechó la ocasión para agradecer la formación recibida en su día y el apoyo de sus familiares.
La concejala del Ayuntamiento de Burgos, Dolores Calleja, fue la encargada de clausurar este acto afirmando que “Burgos necesita profesionales muy bien preparados para el nuevo concepto de ciudad” en el que se está trabajando.
