Curiosa por naturaliza, quería saber los entresijos de un edificio y estudió Arquitectura Técnica, una profesión que le permite combinar la oficina con el trabajo en la obra y vivir una “aprendizaje diario”. Considera que el gran reto actual es conseguir construcciones “íntegramente sostenibles” y, desde el COAATBU, trabaja por mostrar a la sociedad que los aparejadores son “técnicos cualificados y competentes”.
1 Breve currículum:
Tras acabar Arquitectura de interiores, estuve trabajando durante un tiempo en un estudio de Arquitectura. Después cursé Arquitectura Técnica y, desde entonces, llevo trabajando en el mismo estudio de Arquitectura redactando proyectos y llevando direcciones de ejecución de obra y coordinaciones de seguridad y salud.
2 ¿Por qué te hiciste Aparejador? ¿Qué es lo que te gusta de la profesión?
Siempre me llamó la atención el diseño de espacios, mobiliario…Fue en el primer estudio en el que trabajé donde se me despertó la necesidad de saber cómo se construía un edificio, qué instalaciones se necesitan, cómo se ejecutan desde su inicio hasta el final; por lo que estudiar Arquitectura Técnica me pareció lo más adecuado para cubrir mi curiosidad.
De mi profesión me gusta el poder combinar la oficina técnica con el trabajo en obra, tratar con los diferentes gremios aporta algo nuevo que aprender a diario.
3 Un proyecto para recordar…
Todos los proyectos tienen algo interesante que hay que pensar, solucionar o inventar sobre la marcha. Ahora estoy ejecutando una vivienda –taller de pintura cuya estructura es visible interiormente, formando parte del diseño del edificio.
4¿Cuál es tu papel en la junta de gobierno? ¿Qué aportas y esperas?
Llevo unos cuantos años en la junta de gobierno desarrollando diferentes funciones. Actualmente represento al colegio en la comisión de certificación del ICCL y también, junto a dos de mis compañeras de la junta, formo parte de la comisión de obras ilegales.
Junto a mis compañeros de la junta de gobierno, espero seguir defendiendo las atribuciones y competencias de los aparejadores, arquitectos técnicos e ingenieros de la edificación. Para ello damos especial importancia a la formación y difusión de la profesión.
5 ¿Cuál crees que son los retos actuales de la profesión?
Considero que el gran reto actual es adaptarnos al objetivo europeo de nueva construcción íntegramente sostenible, basadas en el consumo energético casi nulo, así como en la bioconstrucción, desarrollada con materiales ecológicos y saludables.
Dentro de poco será una realidad y, para conseguirlo, debemos marcarnos la finalidad de habitar edificios construidos y desarrollados con consumo de energías provenientes de fuentes renovables, convenciéndonos de ser una inversión rentable.
