Llamando al optimismo
Los nuevos colegiados y los que llevan veinticinco años de profesión coinciden en llamar al optimismo en estos tiempos complicados. Reconocen que la obra nueva no vive su mejor momento y no recuperará el volumen que llegó a tener hace unos años. El presidente del Colegio de Aparejadores y Arquitectos Técnicos de Burgos, Jesús Manuel González, asegura que su aspiración es que se recupere un ritmo equilibrado de construcción. Mientras tanto, la salida está en la rehabilitación y la eficiencia energética.
La Sala Polisón acogió una vez más la fiesta anual del COAATBU para homenajear a los veteranos y dar la bienvenida a los recién titulados. Setecientos colegiados que forman “una gran familia”, según el presidente, Jesús Manuel González Juez, que aprovechó la ocasión para defender al colegio de ataques normativos porque “no es un partido ni un sindicato, se abastece económicamente de sus socios, funciona de forma plenamente democrática y presta un claro servicio a las instituciones y a la sociedad”.
En el acto tomaron posesión los nuevos colegiados que han ingresado este año en el COAATBU. Sara Iglesias, que habló en su nombre, reconoció que empiezan en un momento de crisis que puede llevar al desánimo, pero animó a no rendirse y apostar por la esperanza y la ilusión.
También habló de esperanza y confianza en el futuro Moisés García, en nombre de los homenajeados al cumplir veinticinco años de profesión. Recordó que empezó a trabajar en los años 80, también en plena crisis, aunque menos virulenta que la actual.
Defendió el lado humano de los aparejadores y arquitectos técnicos, convencido de que la profesión les ayuda también en su desarrollo personal.
Trayectoria Profesional: Carlos Echevarrieta
El reconocimiento a la trayectoria profesional recayó este año en Carlos Echevarrieta, un profesional que ha tocado a lo largo de su trayectoria casi todos los palos. Desde que salió de la Escuela en 1968 ha trabajado a pie de obra, pero también ha desempeñado un recorrido notable como profesor de la propia Escuela Politécnica y llegó a ser secretario y tesorero de la Junta directiva del COAATBU.
Echevarrieta recordó emocionado el momento en que salió de la Escuela, en la primera promoción y recordó el nombre de varios compañeros con los que ha trabajado en algunos momentos durante estos años porque “lo más importante es el compañerismo”. También llamó al optimismo, pero apoyado por el consejo de seguir formándose incluso después de la colegiación.
Precisamente a la necesidad de formación continua se refirió también el rector de la Universidad de Burgos, Alfonso Murillo, quien destacó la gran vinculación de la universidad burgalesa con los aparejadores y arquitectos técnicos, porque muchos se han formado en esta universidad y otros siguen vinculados a ella como profesores. Recordó también que la Escuela de Aparejadores, como se conoce popularmente a la Escuela Superior Politécnica acaba de cumplir 50 años en los que ha mejorado en muchos planos, aunque “lo que no ha cambiado es la vocación de calidad de lo que hoy es un grado de Arquitectura Técnica”.
El acto fue cerrado por la concejala de Licencias del Ayuntamiento de Burgos, Dolores Calleja, que animó a los colegiados “nuevos y veteranos” a “seguir adelante y aportar lo que puedan”. También la concejala se mostró convencida de que la rehabilitación y la eficiencia energética pueden ser un revulsivo para la actividad de estos profesionales. En este sentido, consideró que el Ayuntamiento también ha puesto su grano de arena con la puesta en marcha de la Inspección Técnica de Edificios y los convenios con los profesionales que deberán realizarla de forma subsidiaria cuando sea necesario.
